ILP Participation

For this ILP I decided to do the participation part. I interviewed my sister who is a 1st grade teacher at a very low-income school in St. Petersburg. I learned a lot by interviewing her and I realized that each school is very different when it comes to the amount of technology that the kids use.

    I was surprised that they even were allowed to have laptops , but then when you mentioned her biggest problem was how old the technology as it made sense being that it is a low-income school.

    I really enjoyed the interview with your sister. I think it is great that you have her as a resource for projects like this. It really hits home to hear about low-income classrooms and how technology, or a lack of, affects them. Thank you.
