Blog Post #8

I loved using Diigo so much in this class. It gave me a way to annotate powerpoints and look at my peers comments. I think that Diigo is not only great for group projects but also great for reading a PDF and taking notes on it. In my classroom I would use Diigo for group projects or to check if my kids did their reading homework by looking if they annotated it.

Powerpoints would be great for Bloom's Taxonomy. It is a way of studying basic information. The first level is remember, so using a powerpoint students can memorize definitions from the powerpoint. The top level is create so students could use powerpoint to create presentations for the class without too many problems.

I used the website EdSurge which often posts articles about new technology used by teachers. This website gives teachers new ideas and uses for everyday technology and also gives new technology. They are also always posting new information to the website each week that is all related to education.

  4. Hi Kendall!
I also agree with your statement about Diigo being resourceful in a classroom. I think by encouraging them to engage with one another by reading the same critical text and recording additional thoughts helps expand their knowledge on the topic while exercising their creative side. I believe Diigo is useful for personal learning network AND in educational environments.
